JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for selling personal lines insurance to direct requests from prospective clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Call current and potential policyholders to deliver and explain policy, analyze insurance programs, suggest additions or changes, or change beneficiaries.
• Calculate premiums and establish payment method.
• Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers.
• Sell personal lines insurance to prospective clients.
• Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages, of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold personal lines license to sell insurance (or be able to obtain one)
• Must have excellent communication skills and can multitask.
• Bilingual a plus
• Customer service experience as a sales representative a plus

• Target Income Range: $60,00 - $100,000
• Base salary, plus monthly commissions, and potential bonuses
• Paid vacation and sick days

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (1x every three weeks)
