This position is primarily responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, or VoIP phone systems. Responds to questions, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

●Provide technical assistance and support for questions and issues related to desktop computer systems, software, and hardware.Primarily Windows/PC/Office 365 environment.
●Respond to support requests either in person or over the phone or by email or instant message or Help Desk tickets.
●Walk requesters through the problem-solving process so strong communication skills are required.
●Install, modify, upgrade and repair desktop computer hardware and software.
●Assist users with the installation of computer peripherals.
●Execute diagnostic software to troubleshoot and resolve support requests.
●Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
●Act as the primary interface between users and VoIP and Internet Service Providers to expand, modify, or resolve issues with those services.
●Follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved.
●Gather feedback from users about computer usage.
●WordPress/CSS Front end coding a plus but not required (to assist in occasional work overflow).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
●Associates degree with emphasis in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) with 3-10 years of equivalent experience supporting computer users.Compensation based on experience.
●Working knowledge of VoIP phone systems
●Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, and SDWAN implementations
●Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365 administration
●Familiarity with desktop computer hardware internals
