Range: $48,000 to $55,000 (based on experience)

Position Summary:

We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Front End Web Developer will be able to hit the ground running. With your proven development experience and strong WordPress knowledge, you will execute, build and maintain our complete network of websites, as well as email campaigns, digital ads, digital and all items of the umbrella company and sub brands.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth, mastery knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Interviews product owners/creative directors to help them clarify their goals for establishing a website or web app.
  • Educates the team about the similarities and differences between Internet communication and other forms of marketing and public relations efforts.
  • Custom tailors a plan for proposed site using combination of graphic and written material and modifies proposals as necessary until the team is satisfied.
  • Works with the team to select a domain name and registers the chosen name with InterNIC.
  • Carries out functions of an Internet service provider (ISP) to reduce amount of technical expertise needed by clients, or trains clients’ in-house personnel to operate and update site on an independent basis. Continues to supply consulting services as needed.
  • Provides marketing and promotion services such as registration of site with search engines and directories.
  • Updates and expands information on the websites to attract repeat users.
  • Meets on a regular basis with clients to evaluate and modify websites as it seems appropriate.
  • Monitors website back-end dashboards to ensure we’re running at peak performance at all times.
  • Possess the ability to meet deadlines and collaborate well with the team.
  • Takes full ownership of technical projects and tasks.
  • Collaborates with regional management, corporate marketing staff and development teams.
  • Utilizes data and analytics in making design decisions.
  • Works with back-end developers to deploy designs and projects.
     

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • On-site position at our Corporate office in Chandler, AZ. No remote opportunities.
  • Training in marketing or business administration highly desirable.
  • Experience in customizing and maintaining WordPress websites.
  • Exceptional systems skills; Web intelligence/Desktop intelligence skills preferred.
  • Ability to efficiently manage and execute a large workload.
  • Willingness to update skills on a regular basis to keep abreast of rapidly changing technology.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Advanced grasp of UI/UX principles.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Photoshop, Figma, etc)
  • Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

Education/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Three or more years of website development experience.
  • Digital portfolio of strong development work.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript programming, HTML programming, CSS programming, and familiarity with React, and Typescript.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

Expected Hours Of Work:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
